"These chains rock! I may not have reached a level where I can spin fire but they are just as great practicing with the led flow heads. Then you can make adjustments to the weight of the chains (which is a considerable amount). I will only buy my gear here at Home of Poi!"

Everything I was looking for
"These chains are great they were exactly what I wanted. I am still working out how I want to hold the handles but that is not the handles fault at all. the handles are soft no abrasive surfaces so far. The swivels are smooth. The quick links are easy to manipulate. I am very happy with my purchase."

"These match my strobe poi perfectly! they feel so good to hold i couldn't believe it soft and comfy yet weighted well enough to do throws and add the extra bit of oomph in performance! I highly recommend these handles to anyone and just remember to give them a nice charge in the sun or with a torch before you spin ;)"

With the awesome balance the nice swivels and the Cole Cord connection I was able to pull off a perfect orbital straight after getting these poi in the mail. "These realy are top they have a much longer burn time and a realy nice round flame. But they are realy heavey and may take some getting used to they are also pretty tough on the arms but i would reccomend them to anyone as long as your not scared to spend a little while letting your arms get used to the extra weight. As with all the HOP poi there realy well made and look like theyll last a good while so a good bet for anyone performing"

Best I've found so far...
"This is my second set of fire poi and I was very pleased with the construction and slick appearance (on fire and off) of the monkey fist knots. Only minor nitpick would be the leather grips which have a Home of Poi tag sewn between the loops that I don't much like because I'm not big on branding. When I cut off the tags the loops make a squeeky sound when swinging the poi but it's not severe. Also not the highest grade leather I've ever seen but plenty good for the job."

First time using oval links
"These are my second pair of fire heads and my first time trying oval links. I wasn't sure if I would like them so I contacted Malcolm and asked what the differences would be between chains. He was prompt in his reply and extremely helpful and I'm really glad I got the oval chains. They work really well especially with the heavier weight of the monkey fists. I love them!"
