Zan Moore is an international fire dancer and object manipulation artist. He is the creator of one of the first and most popular fire poi instructional videos, “The Encyclo-poi-dia”. Ever the pioneer, Zan was an early adopter of video posting online and currently holds the most watched poi video on youtube with 1,000,000 views.
Zan’s retreat is for fire poi or fire staff dancers at all levels and includes yoga for all. You may choose to participate for one or two weeks.
Zan’s system breaks down moves into simple to understand parts which can be applied to all moves at all levels. In addition to technical skills, Zan also focuses on performance enhancement techniques, body movement and dance.
This retreat includes accommodation at a beautiful resort including an infinity pool and a 900 square foot training deck with epic ocean views. Rooms are equipped with wifi, a/c and hot water. Program includes a waterfall hike and a trip to the Curu Nature Reserve. All participants are required to share a room with one other participant of the same sex.
