Name: Hey Everyone, my name is Alex from lush tropical Las Vegas, NV (err.....). I'm one of the few people here over the age of 21 who was born here. Usually people look at me like I'm from Mars when I tell them that because it's apparently rare (?) So I started telling people that there are only eighty 21+ Las Vegans in the city, that there were meetings every month, and that I only go for the punch. It's always meant as a joke, but what turned out to be funny is that I've actually had people think it was true.

In case you couldn't tell, I'm a Leo (one of the rare July leos), just celebrated my 24th birthday a little over a month ago and am loving life at the moment. Right now I'm working at a casino in one of the showrooms as an usher/actor hybrid. It's a lot of fun, and I get to interact with people from all over the world which is probably my 2nd favorite part of the job (#1 is making people laugh).

I graduated from UNLV with a degree in Communication studies and a minor in theatre. I'm big into fitness, just started lifting weights pretty heavily about 2 months ago. Normally I'm an avid runner, but have had to lower the amount I run in order to attempt to put on some muscle. Cardio is apparently my frenemy.

I unfortunately don't read enough, so my favorite books are essentially "The Princess Bride" and the Harry Potter Series. I'm a sucker for comedy movies as well as Thriller/Horror films......the GOOD kind. Some of the stuff that's being recycled out of hollywood right now is KILLING ME. Spaceballs, Psycho (1960), and Moulin Rouge are 3 of my all time favorite movies. I'm a true sucker for competition based reality shows such as Survivor and Big Brother. Hope to get on one of them someday. Also love Desperate Housewives, and old school animated shows like Daria, Duckman, Rocco's Modern Life, Drawn Together. I like a bunch of different musicians. Most notably in my collection are Sheryl Crow, Pink, the Spice Girls, and Enya.

In general I want to travel. I lived for 8 months in Buenos Aires Argentina, and it was a life changing experience. I can't wait to save up money and do it again. My next desired destination to live abroad is France. I also love to entertain, whether it's being an amateur comedian or pretending to know how to dance well, I like to capture an audiences attention and have an effect on their day.

I've tried thus far to not make it obvious that I was following that survey the newbies are supposed to fill out. If you haven't noticed, yay me! As far as random tidbits about me (in case I haven't bored you to stop reading this yet).

Favorite Food: I have been a vegetarian for over almost 7 years. My favorite color is purple.

What is the wing speed of an unladed swallow? I feel it is impossible to calculate the wing speed of an unladen swallow without knowing if it is african or european. ;-) (I'm sure I'm the 9,234 who has given that answer)

Toys: Fluffy purple poi.

Godzilla vs. a Star Wars Star Destroyer. Who wins? Why? Godzilla. Because he's freaking GODZILLA.

Do you think these pants make my butt look too big? Only when you bend over.

Favorie ice cream flavor(s): Strawberry Cheesecake, Chocolate chip Cookie Dough.

Marmite, Vegemite, or Nutella?* Nutella. I've never had the other two, and Nutella is amazing!
