Ok guys, here we go...

The dates are 11th - 13th June and it will be in lovely Kimmeridge again.

We are starting to put everything together for next year and as this is a community event, we want you, the community to give your input as to what you would like to see there.

Things like, who would you like to teach workshops? Which superstar juggler should we get? Wes again or someone else?

We'll have to set an "idea" deadline of January 31st to give us enough time so please get us your suggestions before then.

Tickets will be on sale via SOUTHERN LIGHTS

More updates can be followed via FACEBOOK And TWITTER

Has a quick look and cant find anything specific so.. what are the terms of using fire toys in the designated area? Do we need to provide proof of insurance etc or is it an 'at your own risk' activity?

As it happens i'm not 100% sure on the conditions of insurance required for this activity. Only ever spun with fire a handful of times on private property with permission, never done it in 'public' or with many people around, any clarification would be fantastically helpful smile

Got my half day booked in work for Friday, swinging home to grab my stuff and heading down to set up in the afternoon/evening.

See you all there!

On that subject: This year, please don't stand around inside the fire manipulation area, unless you actually have some fire to manipulate. In particular, please don't go up to people who are in the middle of manipulating fire and try to engage them in conversation (like someone did with me last year, with my fully-fuelled snakes that I was using for the second time ever. I did a turn and suddenly there was this bloke standing right in front of me - WTF??? shocked )

Eeek!!!! Glade Festival has just announced that it's on 10-12th June 2011.

Fingers crossed that Southern Lights has decided to be slightly different in 2011 and not be on the same weekend! Please? grin

Summer just doesn't have enough weekends in it. We all need to move somewhere with 12 months of summer, or all quit our jobs and spend the summer moving from field to field. Which is what some people we know actually do. They might be on to something!

maybe they should all just line up and run consecutively, then you only have to move 1 field over per week... although that may take a large farm.
