I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Not only am I a newbie to the forums, but I'm also a newbie to Poi! I just stated Hula Hooping- and I'd like to expand my hobby horizons.
I'm super friendly.. Very crafty.. And always got my learnin' hat on.
This summer I'll be going to Sacred Earth psytrance festival in Wisconsin! Anyone else going should let me know, I'm trying to meet more interesting and knowledgeable people.
Any poi-gurus in Minneapolis? I'd love to meet up and learn... =D

Hey TranquiliTea, welcome! I'm in Minneapolis (though I'm no guru by any means).
Your timing seems to be perfect for someone just starting to spin. There is a spin jam this Thursday night, starts at 10 runs till whenever.
