Hi guys,
It's Southern Lights 2009 announcement time
Firstly, the dates are 12-14th June.
We have a new site on the grounds of a beautiful stately home in a little village called Kimmeridge on the Jurassic Coast in Dorset, we know that very few of you will have heard of it so we have organised an electronic map!
There is so much happening and the best way to keep up to date with what's going on is to check out our shiny new website at www.southernlightsfestival.co.uk
We will endeavour to answer questions and comments that you leave for us but the best way to get your questions answered is to use the contact page on the website.
Have a wonderful winter and spring and we'll see you in SUMMER!!!

Unfortunately I cannot attend.
A) I cannot afford, my salary isn't what it used to be.
B) I failed to get the time off for it.

- I've been told there is a footpath, but it's a secret no more than 10 minutes walk from the site.

Si, It's not just the money issue. I was unsure about the time off so I didn't book it and the holidays are taken now even if I do have the money... I can't even afford to make my way down there...

I dont think I'll be coming down this year guys.
Unfortunately its the middle of the festival season and for me that means work.
If you have a use for me let me know and I'll see what I can do though.
Also could one of you guys get Matt to copy those DVD's I sent him and send me a copy back. My backup hard disc failed and now I dont have any of the recordings

I'd like to put the call out for workshops again we have a few spots left so if you have ideas and/or are interested in teaching please let me know, we've covered the most popular things and have a couple of slightly different workshops but we want things YOU want to do the more you input the better fun it'll be for all!

I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who applied, there were so many and the standard was very high, Apologies to those who didn't get selected this year and congratulations to those who did! (you're ours now ) I will send out an information pack to the Crew soon so you have details but any questions in the mean time let me know.
