I've been spinning poi since around June 05, although i have been able to do a single weave since i was about 13/14 years old.
Attended me first HoP meet on sunday in Manchester and met lots of cool people

New toys are in the post. by falmouth i will have my *first* set of fire poi, and a box of reuseable glow sticks to play with. And one of the Manchester spinners is making me a staff as well

I only out-gayed you the once, but it was quite funny
(if very cold) i got home safely, eventualy. but thanks to the traffic i missed my coach on the monday night so had to stay in bristol an extra night with Len and get a coach on the tuesday, which meant i had to take an extra day off work
in other news i may recover quicker than i antticipated after my operation so may be able ot make Play to have even more random jollyness with you all

No Matt, it wasnt around the camp fire, it was in front of the UV cannon, whilst you were in te foot orgy thingy.
Emmy, try to keep up, I have had this thread since I joined HoP. It is by no means a new thread, just a newly dusted and revived thread
and Joe, Matt was un/lucky enough to meet me at Fal 5 which was an excellet weekend. It might be worth waiting until the summer before we drag people half way across the country for a bit of a spin, we can make a weekend of it, like they do at clapham

Duuuuuuuuuude!!!!! Twas a most excellent weekend indeed...although apparently loads of stuff happened that I just missed. Foot orgies, glowbowls,uv cannon, out-gaying...I sometimes wonder if I even actually went to the same place as everyone else

Yeah! It was awesome!! The UV cannon lit everything up and everyone had an awesome time! The music was sweet thoughout. Even though it was sometimes only steaks playing on the drum!

Rave, you missed a brilliant weekend, a couple of vans and cars had their systems playing over the weekend, i had a stereo which mostly played Mr Scruff (
) and we also had many Djembe's which lot's of people playedoverthe course of the weekend.Doug, many people besides myself played the drums (including yourself), some significantly better than I can

I'm the one doing all the HoPing right now
yes people i am still alive after my operation and recovering well.
have my clips/staples removed next week and am likely to be on crutches for at least another 3-4 weeks, but all going well and i should be on for attending Play
