Check with your airline, they will have very clear rules about what you can and can't take.
You certainly can't take flammables in your hand luggage (even before the no liquids rule). I would imagine that they would not let you take parrafin in the hold either, because of the risk of leakage (esp considering the way baggage handlers throw luggage around, not to mention the pressure and temp changes in the hold). I would suggest that you do a bit of research into the availability of fuel at your destination, and learn the local terminology for appropriate fuels.

Not in the carry on
The answer seems plain
Not in checked baggage
It's too much to explain

You can not take it here to there
You can not take it anywhere
You can not take Kero on a plane
To even attempt it, you'd be insane!

biggrin

Pick it up when you get there and enjoy your trip! wink

I think as long as you pack it super carefully along with large packets of cocaine, it should be alright...;)

er, NOT! Just in case you missed it , that was sarcasm!!

Do not actually attempt this!!!

*I did try really really hard to refrain from sarcasm, honest I did. But flammables and explosives on a plane? Last flight they did not even let me bring my toiletries!*)

Hmmm... I can just imagine the joy of airport security when they see some guy with a mohican fiddling with the fuel pump.

And Pele... yep, all necessary moderator comments, or in fact, maybe just sarcasm in general, should be written in verse... rhyming at that... makes life much more amusing hug

I believe, technically, a mohawk doesn't usually go all the way to the neck, it is usually shorter but may have a long section or pigtail at the back. A mohican goes all the way and is long and spikey. These are fairly modern definitions though

The terms come from the native american tribes who wore the styles originally, the Mahicans and the Mohawks were actually warring tribes! However if you look for pics of native american warriors they almost all seem to have the sides of their head shaved. I read somewhere that this was a spiritual thing, they believed their hair connected them to the creator, and didn't want to take something that sacred to war.

The 'do wasn't just a native american thing either, 2 bog bodies dug up in Ireland also have 'em.

so trying not to sound snotty

i thought it was simply length of hair not the hair itself

and i do not believe that most shaved their heads

we have a lot of historical stuff for native americans around here-and shaved heads not so much

Mohicans and Mohawks actually had tensions but weren't actively warring. The Mohicans moved east and the Mohawks stayed here in my area.

And as for the hair...neither the Mohawks nor Mohicans wear it. The Huron did but the French thought they were Mohawk tribe.

Most natives didn't shave their heads at all. In fact, long, full heads of hair is more highly characteristic of the tribes, especially the Mohawk. Mahawk are part of the Iroquois nation, and I grew up near an Iroquois Reservation with alot of friends from it.

For the hairstyle...
Mohawk is the US term.
Mohican is the UK term.

They are the same style.

And as for glowsticks. I hadn't heard that, so you might want to check.
Ever think about asking for an LED set for the holidays? Then you wouldn't have to worry about it! wink

Well, books, shampoo, lipstick and far more normal things were on the ban list. So it wouldn't be a far skip for glowsticks to be as well.
