Tom, sorry to hear that I missed you by the thickness of a hair on a spiders leg.

OK, I got home 31 hours later (eugh) All, good, my bum is still sore, and my brain has not arrived yet.
there are no mosquitoes here!

Drew yes, I felt very sorry for having missed you and when I'm getting back to KP it's not sure where the family is going to be and how many are going to be left *pulls own hair*... but having seen a glimpse of light is better than never...

Maus, I'm not sure how long I'm going to last in Thailand at all. 3 weeks sounds very unlikely at this point. Goa is calling me for various reasons...

Thailand is eating into my budget, but I guess I'll be smarter tomorrow... Certainly keep you posted

But for sure there will be some spinners somewhere on the island. At least Mr. Someone is heading to Thailand beginning of Feb. Worthwile meeting this lad, I can tell you

I'm back in Bangkok now... utterly sad to have left all the beautiful, talented people on the beach... but very happy for such a fantastic start to the year

The show went really well

Well, all together our two shows raised around $7000 baht... I have to count it properly today. What an amazing group, I am so excited to even be a tiny part of it. Lots of buzz around about how much people enjoyed the show! Jo, our tahi friend, is still glowing from his first performance ever.

Sadly the irrepressable countageously hilariously frenetic Dai left in high seas this morning, and we are waiting in eager anticipation to see who arrives...

Missing you already Clare! And Bryan too. Drew, hope your bowels have recovered my friend!


John has all the video footage from Dai and Nao too, so wow, will we ever have some fun media to share!

Today I am going to spend in the big gold hula hoop. I am learning a lot, and getting back in shape, feeling quite blissed out.

Miss you guys too ... but also for a fabulous time...

Spent yesterday wandering aimlessly around the weekend market with Bryan - crazy place!!!... but he should have arrived safely in India by now...

I'm hoping to meet Dai in the park at 5pm tonight... he's flying out of Bangkok at the same time as me on Wednesday (thought I was leaving Thursday, but nope...)


Anyways, it was great to have really good conversations with some lovely ladies (and lads) over the last few weeks... I muchly appreciate it, and hope to see you soon.


I was wondering... there's a couple of email addresses I don't have, and could those of you still there help me out with these? I'd like to be able to groupmail about the fire show thingy and other assorted stuff...

I don't have Andrea's, Maddi's, Jessica (Burning Dan?!), Gordon or Nao's email... Andrea or Maddi... could you PM them to me?! That would be splendid

Dai and I will be getting a taxi in about an hour and a half to the airport... the CDs have fire shows and Soam (or something similar) written on them... there's about 5?

I'll try to leave them at reception in Wild Orchid for you, but I'm not sure they'll accept them... we'll sort something...


Anyways... many, many thanks to everyone here for such a splendid start to 2007... I'm feeling so much stronger and happier, and really looking forward to seeing you all again somewhere in the year...

Well I'm back in Bangkok and going to chill out here until Saturday when i take my plane back to Ireland. Chilling here with Maddi, Anya, Brandon and Francois. More of the Koh Phangan Haad Yuan crew should be passing through here in the next week, with various people flying home or moving onward to the next destination.

So if anyones passing through we're staying near the juggly park at Pra Sumen Fort next to Pra Atit boatstop. Spinning in the park every evening until then.

Went to a ridiculous shopping centre today, went mad, got a headache and wished i could jump back in the sea.

btw I just read the BKK-section of the Lonely Planet Thailand guide, where they talk about "urban species".... farang khii nok is a term for fisherman pantied, dreadlocked and smelly tourists... it means "bird [censored] foreigners"
