Hole on the bottom of fire poi

I recenently discovered a hole at the bottom of my fire poi. I see a metal thing when i look at the bottom of my poi now. I havent had my set for that long i dont know why it ripped a hole already. I need to know whether i can still spin them and if there is a way to fix the ripped kevlar on the bottom. Im really disapointed that they have ripped already. I have a cathedral set from HoP. Any info would be much appreciated.
