i need someone to help tell me if im on the right track...I got my poi three days ago and was looking for a bit of constructive critisism...i dont know anyone who can really teach me so ive had to figure it out myself...ive been told im doing it right but just want to check that i am..any and all help appreciated

it seems to be working alright on the right (your right) side. when it comes to the left hand your just stopping the move and going into forwards swing. i think u should try and get what ur doing on your right, on your left.
also, slowing down a heap will help.

1. Parallel cross-over - It's ok, Poi went parrallel
to each other and you cross left over right well.
- Practise crossing right over left too.
2. Parallel buzzsaw - It's ok, both Poi went
parallel to each other passing buzzsaw insideout.
- Try the same backward.
3. Weave - It's ok, both Poi went alternate
to each other with "left under right" start.
- Try different starts.
a)Right under left
b)Right over left
c)Left over right
- Try spin the same backward.

^ personally i wouldnt try and turn yet, just try and get forwards parallel and split time then backwards parallel and split time. work on your left side then butterfly. It took me a few more days to learn how to turn, just try one at first and turn with it and see where it goes then do both together

thanks for the help...out of interest is what i have learned in three days about the norm? i really know absolutly nothing about spinning poi and any help is sooo greatly welcomed....well im off to play with them in the garden and try the butterfly where i cant smash any lightbulbs..
