I'm not sure if this makes ANY sense but it seems like my keyboard will become more stubborn when I'm online. It will often miss letters and such. I type offline Word documents all the time without missing a letter but when I type online, especially here, I'm constantly having to bang hard and go back and fill in letters.

I know that makes little sense technologically... it's the same keyboard, right? Am I on crack again?

Well, shall we go?
Yes, let's go.
[They do not move.]

Only you can answer this question

It was a day for screaming at inanimate objects.

What this calls for is a special mix of psychology and extreme violence...

i had a nice little accident not so long back, my coffee mug went all over my key board, now my L, return and right hand shift keys do not work, the L key i have to press a few time for it to register, so every post i make you may sometimes notice i miss L out of words. i refuse to sit here with out coffee though its my only drug, accept for an ounce of gloden vaginia a week and a pint of ale every monday night after teapots with the jugglers.

My keyboard definately seems to be fickle, working fine most of the time but then suddenly refusing to acknowledge anything I do. My mouse is the same, it'll lock up all of a sudden and only register 1 axis for a while, regardless of how much muck is in there (I clean it fairly often).
I'm starting to get convinced that it just doesn't like me, since it seems to lock up mainly when my boss is looking over my shoulder.

But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

Bovril- get an optical mouse. I never had a ball mouse that didn't break or do weird things.

That said, my wireless optical mouse only seems to acknowledge my right hand - if you leave it for a bit it goes to 'sleep' and you have to move it around a bit before it wakes up, but no matter how much I move it with my left hand it does nothing. Yet, as soon as I touch it with my right hand it springs to life.

More Micro$oft trickery I reckon!
