10000 days

Non-Https Image Link

released on 1st may 2006.

i can't bloody wait - seems like much more than 10000 days since they released lateralus wink

mr carrey the drummer said this about the new album:

"We have the most retarded President we've ever had, and we're frustrated and that's the reason it's a little heavier this time. That level of frustration back like when we first got the band together: we were products of that f*cking Reagan thing, we were pissed off and bummed out, we had that angst, and now it's coming forth again: like it or not, we're products of our environment. We're pissed off again."

p.s. i have tickets to the gig too tongue

I hope its not TOO hard... I like their newer stuff better (Aenima/Lateralus) but oh well. Im sure Ill like it either way.

Radiohead is coming out with a new album soon too. They're also reverting back to their older style (which is also something of a disappointment).

Let's turn those old bridges we crossed into ashes.
We'll blaze a new trail,
and torch the rough patches.

when i saw tool, maynard told us to shove our fingers somewhere too but, as it was part of a lyric about ungrateful whiny bitches, i didn't actually do it myself wink

when i saw apc, they wouldn't let us smoke cigarettes during the show which was actually pretty cool.

they made geordie tell a really bad joke.

that was not cool.

luckily, i can't remember it.

so, i tried downloading 10000 days (cos i couldn't stand to think that all the while i was waiting for the cd to be released and delivered, everyone else had been listening to it) but i can happily report that i could only find fake tracks and viruses on the p2p networks biggrin

i will happily wait another three weeks meditate
