Hi all... I am a complete newbie to poi, fire twirling and anything/everything related. In fact, I'll only even see it in real life for the 1st time next Friday (making it down to the Moon Fest on north side of Brissie).
Anyway, this is me...
Name: Pat... but Pogo to those that know me well.
Location: Logan City, south of Brisbane, QLD, Oz.
Hometown: As above.
DOB: 17/09/1969
Age: 36 and counting...

Occupation(s): Computer Programmer. Worked for myself from home for 2 1/2 years, but have recently had to get a "real" job.
Favorite Food(s): Hmmm... pretty much anything, really.
Favorite Color(s): Green
Toys: Acoustic guitar, Classical guitar, 3 electric guitars, 2 djembes.
Hobbies other than the obvious: Music, Reading, Keeping fit (hmmm, not so much of the keeping fit, actually)
Education: Did Bachelor of Science majoring in Computer Science and Pure Maths. Then Grad Dip Appl Computing... then started a research masters, but gave it away when life got in the way.
Favorite Book(s): Have to get back to you on that one... The Anarchist was the last book I read, quite liked it.
Favorite Movie(s): Lots... Fight Club, Snatch, Lock Stock..., Finding Nemo, Pulp Fiction, Pay It Forward...
Favorite TV show(s): Don't watch tv.
Plans for life in general: (i.e. what you want to do when you grow up) I really... wish... I knew.
Favorite Music Artists/Composers: Lately... Xavier Rudd, Jack Johnson, JBT, Blue King Brown, Donavon Frankeneiter, Rob Sawyer, The Waifs... blues/roots stuff.
Favorie ice cream flavor(s): Vanilla.
Marmite, Vegemite, or Nutella? (please choose one...this is important as it is essentially this site's equivalent of stating your religion...we have religious wars, crusades, cathedrals to Nutella, all that.)

yup yup... busy, busy, busy... the website (the development of) which occupies the majority of my spare time, is supposed to relaunch on monday... only time will tell if that means I actually get my life back...
but I thought I'd cruise on through briefly and launch a gratuitous... I mean subtle, campaign for hugs...

Well...I know that the one at the top was an anemone...and the wiggly one in the middle is a type of starfish...and the blinky -eyed one on the bottom is just a part of the coral...so...nothing really that strange about them...they just look that way with the funky eyes...
Pat is always open for hugs...and he's such a cute lil hippie, how can you resist?

Well...there's still no definite date...cuz I have to get the passports for myself and my daughter...and our visas...which could all take a couple-few months...but it's all in the works...so I'll be sure to keep you updated!!!
I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone...and so is my little miss...it's gonna be soooooooo much fun...
