Hey Bellsspinning,

Happy birthday for May! Home of Poi is quite the international poi/fire arts site, so you need to be very specific in terms of where you're looking for people. As a fellow resident of the fair state of NSW in Australia, I can tell you you'll have a hard time getting many people around Camden. If you've got until May, perhaps the best option would be to run several workshops and teach people you think have potential to do some basic moves and get them to choreograph a simple routine in your honour. No fire of course, not within this time frame.

Spinners like to congregate in parks and on beaches. Are you sure there is no circus arts/juggling type stuff in your area? Might be the best place to start looking.... Also, try the Meet Others forum here on HOP, but as I said it's a large international site and most people are not from NSW.

Good luck!

you're from Camden? I was there recently at the Camden airport with Venturers... anyway, thats off the subject

You're best probably looking for Sydney spinners (or surrounding area) who are willing to travel to the Camden area, as from what I noticed of Camden, it's fairly small, and as you said you have had difficulty, so looking in the surrounding larger towns might be easier

well i actually live at the oaks but no one knows where that is but that is like 15 mins away from picton anyway my 16th is going to be crazy my idea is to have a beach party in my back yard with tones of sand spread out a big tent thing set up on one part for a dance party area
little fires scatered around and every one can bring beach towels to sit on strobe lights and a big back drop of the ocean well that my thoughts at the moment the only thing missing is staff twirlers poi spinners juggelers anything like that thanks guys AGAIN lol
