smile

Todays video for your pleasure:

Baton twirling - Sheryl Welykholowa, Jill Ford, Stacy Singer - Triple Threat

Linky linky

Details: On stage probably 2002 . A super tight performances from world champion standard baton twirlers.

Amazingly talented trio including Stacy Singer doing monster rolls - a move apparently invented for her and remamed matrix by the edinburgh staff twirlers.

See Glitzy stuff, 3 baton juggling, contact sequence and some qualilty strutting about.

If you like this, make a post below. If you have any requests, I can post them too. biggrin

Drew darling, if you have not seen "Rize "yet you really must get your ass in gear and rent it! Like now!

Word. Saw it on the big screen and it was worth it.

Could have been better in some parts but pretty damn interesting as a documentary.

Here, have a preview.

Then you MUST Click on the "Battlezone Music Video" (Super High Res if you're cool like that). And be sure to crank the music.

Funny, I was thinking of you and NY, wondering if there was some kind of an agnostic- swing- dancing- New- York- clown- gang version I could hook up with while thereeek

But Zamir says he actually took a crump workshop from one of these guys ! So maybe I will do that instead...

It's not like poi but not poi. It's like flagging but not flagging.

But yes, I think "wafting" would be a good description. If some kind of scent needed to be spread about I would totally hire her to spread it.

My son loves that video, probably reminds him of the Marbellous construction set we have upstairs. Love the way some of the activities 'build' the tracks as its going, and the inclined glass panes that speed up the marbles...

greg kennedy doing some juggling.

to replicate it, make yourself an 8' high acrylic cone, invert it, stand inside it and see what pattens you can make with 7 multicoloured silicone balls.

I am so surprised that that is the first time I've seen any of that...

Everyone has seen those charity collection boxes where you roll the coin toward a hole in the centre of a cone and it goes round and round and round...

But why haven't I seen it done with juggling balls before!?

Nice Vid, Mr Coleman. biggrin

its a really gorgeous idea but the difficulties in constructing a cone like that and the fact that you have to use a rope to climb in and out of it are just a couple of good reasons for why we've not seen anything like it before! biggrin

check out the 1996 ija vid for similar stuff by the same artist (he used a bowl construction for this apparently - not seen it myself).

and these couple of little vids are also on a similar theme - made around the time of the british last year (in scotland) by a recent new joiner of hop smile
