I want to make some new toys (and refine some old ones) but need thread that wont burn to sew wick together. Kevlar seems like the obvious choice.

I've done a search on here and one on google and can find loads of talk about it but no-one that sells it.

Anyone know know of a supplier or should I be able to buy it from some kind of high street retailer that sells it for a totally different purpose?
