It took me a while before i finally decided to post this first video on HoP... So, umm, well....here it is...:

reminder - ive been spinning for about 8 months now, and this vid has been made in august (that is about 6months of poi) so um well don't expect a super Ros kind of session
just a french spinning touch (aha how cheesy)

The video is a little dark, but the quality of the spinning and the editing of the video itself were great- you have a natural grace that suits fire spinning. I look forward to more

Nice spinning, enjoyable watch.
I fully agree with chutney about it being too dark. It's always a bit distracting when the only light is that of the poi flame. Also, on the crit level, those throws broke the flow quite a bit. The problem, I think, is that the poi flame itself didn't move much, so what I saw was the arm jerk quickly, then the poi shoot back into circular movement. Unfortunately, I can't think of much of a suggestion for a remedy at this point.
On the admiration level, I really enjoyed the long-arm spinning and that long-arm butterfly (at about 1:40) of yours caused a smile to break out on my face with an "oooh pretty".
Wonderful spinning, keep going and show us more!

As you said u've only been spinning afew month so there alot that could be improved, but you look like your enjoying yourself when you spin and aren't afride to play about alittle with fire. also it's got some nice flow and some nice dancing.
looking forward too seeing the next one.

You have a beautiful style - a lot of the moves you do so gracefully took me YEARS to make look that pretty!
I particularly like the one poi stuff at the beginning leading into the nice stalls etc........
And the soundtrack.
And the symmetry of your patterns - lovely
And the longarm stuff then stall at about 1.35
Your isolations and stalls are sweet all the way though too.....
Throws with fire - I wish I could do those!
It's the perfect length too - shows just enough to keep you excited but not get tired of watching - excellent and wonderful.
A bit more lighting next time?
