Well I am new here and just wanted to say hi. I have never done anything with poi but I am very interested and looking for someone willing to teach me. I live in Michigan.... most of the time wished I didnt. But if there is anyone who lives in MI near Ann Arbor area maybe we can get together sometime.

Woof, hello and welcome, but not in any particular order, to the wonderful HoP! For starters, once you've got some poi, (as simple as a pair of long socks with more socks stuffed into the toes) go and check out the lessons section! That's how I learnt!
Hope you enjoy the stay, it's a cool place, (and they say it gets cooler) and everyone's really friendly... Have a great time learning to spin, and in a year you'll be a jedi

Er, hi! Michigan sucks don't it?
You just missed the good doctor. (Doc Lightning) as he just graduated from UofM med school this past fall. I do live in EL, and my housemate works in A2, but, er, I havn't a car or liscense and am not intending to stay around for long. But I bet doc lightning can put you in touch with someone(s)!
