(Have the right branch this time i think)
Hello hoppers, on returning from an amusing weekend at play, i thought i'd finally get signed up these wonderful home of poi forums. I'm doing such a task for many reasons, obviously, but mainly so that the next time i go to a spinners gathering and end up meating loads of crazy hippies, i can answer the second most popular question with a yes instead of a "no i'm a lazy stoner who hasn't been arsed to sign up yet". As the latter answer normally kills any sort of possible conversation.
I've put a little bit of thought into this one, and come to the conclusion that HOP is more like a drug than a forum. The drug in mind is the "Bean" (don't know how many kids use this forum, so those who know will know, and those who don't will just be a little confused, ask a friend then they will also know; possible). ne way to my point... you go to a club, have a few beans bounce around and chat to a load of random people, one of the most common question i have experienced is "what you taken tonight, had a few beans?" or something along those lines. Now if that person then replies "Na Man don't do that s**t", you chat a little bit long and escape to find someone who is in a similar frame of mind. The same it seems happens with HOP lovers, so when they ask that all important question "Are you on HOP" and you go "Na man don't do that s**t" the HOPer will look weary and make excuses to run away.
So i thought i'd jump on the bandwaggan so next time i get asked, "Are you on HOP" i can go "Yes I AM!".
I Also have a few poi moves to touch up

It's addictive too... you forgot that bit... i signed up... 3 months ago? and i don't think i've gone a day since without getting on here... and you're right about the HoP question, i've seen us at it... anyways...
...and let me be the first to say... if you're asked if you want cake, answer yes, if you're asked if you want spaghettie bolognase and a massage, answer yes, and if you're asked if you like the colour pink, answer yes.

I can't actually say i've been to the factory?! or come to think of it every heard of it. what sort of night are we talking about here? although, the more i think the more i seem to think i've heard the name, and the more i think that the more i' sure i have, although not really checked it out :S i'm just waiting for the next Planet Zogg, when hopefully they get the Arches back up and running! oh the fuzzy memories

haha, i know how addictive forums can be.. but over the many years of racking up phone bills, moving on to the wonders of broadband, i've become such a lazy computer geek, such a computer geek that i don't actually use it that much any more, all media for me now, cartoons and green is the life of the computer geek now..
Sorry tangent, i do that. well cake is always good, spag bog & a massage ! thats just for royalty surely! sadly though, i would have to argue against the pink thing. I vote purple!

anyway i have a friend of a friend who goes there. Im sure its the Factory *ponders*
We mostly do Fabric in London, saturdays (Techno). Im more of a breaks man myself. Seeing the PlumpDJ'S set there was proper amazing.
The fuzzyest memory i have is when puppets started fighting behind the bar, my leg turning into a green lava lamp, and paper doiley style patterns came floating toward me. But i always halucinate on 'beans' as you say.

it could well be the factory, something i must have a look at.
well i'm one of them old rock fans, come new born techno freek. Goa/Psy trance i my partying favourate, but in a word or two i listen to anything that i like. doesn't really matter about genre. sheffield is lacking a little in the club scene, its good but had the best times in london, went to synergy at S1(i think thats the place, under the railway arches) earlyer this year. some crazy stuff i'll say. I only really halucinate of the pure crystal for of MDMA. Looking at a rolly and suddenly the tobacco starts to grow little brown leaves, thich then multiply and turn into brown slowers, which then slowly raise up from my and disapear cousing ripples the air like i have a force field covering it. Had the biggest grin

Hehe, little pink Alice will get over it I'm sure, however she did scowl when i mentioned my slight dislike for the colour.

So, how do you find HOP. Have you addiction breaking methods in place in case you want to break the HOP habit?
Is it the Truth?

well i'm impressed by the site, i used to to teach me poi just over a year ago, was most useful. never really a forum person though too lazy, but to say this site is a little addictive. The mrs has been taking the piss because i'm blatently going to get addictied like she did years ago, already checking the damn thing every day. but maybe its acutally a good thing, been meaning to get back to running my website properly and being on here might motivate me a bit to actually put some effor in. damn uni it takes up so much of your time!
