Hello! I'm a beginner in Poi, but thought I should post here, seeing as I'm trying to organise events in Reading. (Althought I'm sure I can be tempted along to the London events sometime, I'm often visiting.) I'm Scottish, 23, male, and better at my other hobbies than Poi! :P (some are Photography, Theatre Acting, Inline Skating) But I enjoy Poi, and haven't meet a nasty Poi person yet! I'm about to become a student again and do a Masters in Photography in Ealing, starting next month.
As a present, I offer a MSN conversation I had with a friend last week:

I reckon if we could combine the fish fire poi with simultaneous cooking in some way, we'd be onto a winner. Fire Poi and good food to eat after!

I made dolphin poi once. But the small kids bashed them on the bitumen and all the rice came out their open stomachs.
