Hello everybody!
I'm Keika, from Ontario, Canada. I recently discovered poi at a local festival, I've already tried to make my own poi (relative disaster) because I can't get my hands on a premade set fast enough! Hope I'll meet some other Canadians, and learn lots about poi!
Oh, another thing I learned is that staff spinning is suspiciously similar to the mace work that the Drum Major in my military band was doing... hmm... coincidence? I think not!! So, if anyone wants to ask me about mace techniques and moves, I'm willing to answer, or go find you an answer (both my brother and my cousin were/are Drum Majors in my squadron band).
