ok - off the mark but i need help. i'm applying for a new job coz i dont like the one i've got - but do i move to devon (north coast) or cornwall???
want to surf and spin wherever i am...and there are tempting jobs in barnstaple and truro. Oh - and i wont know anybody if i move to either!
help!!!!

i'm looking for a nursing job ideally...but maybe a career change isnt a bad idea...!
starting to dislike hospitals truth be told........
not enough room to swing a cat..or anything on fire.

well i personally don't think much of barnstaple hospital but i just don't like hospitals

why not? i've not been to the hospital just roundcroyde to surf?
is it areally crappy hospital? i figured i'd aply for the job and check out the hospital when i went for the interview.

well. i think it is cos everytime i go there it is for a bad reason. i think as a hospital it's not to bad

I'm planning on making a similar move in the next year or so. (althoug I'm already in the South-West in good old Somerset) I'm having the same problem deciding between devon and cornwall too
I'm not too keen on Truro as a city, There doesn't seem to be much there,i haven't been to Barnstable for ages and don't really remmeber it so i can't really compare the two
Don't worry about not knowing people when you get there. Devon and Corwall seem to have some of the friendliest welcoming people i've ever met and there are lots of us HoPpers all over the South West too.

well...i've applied for a job in barnstaple. im not sure about applying for truro as well coz my sis has been working there for 12 months and now she's coming home. feels kinda like im just following in her footsteps like a sheep.
