Well then, I can safely say I'm in new territory here. Being of the non-poi breed my business here is newbish in nature, but after I got sent here by my good friend the Fire Fairy (alias, obviously), it only just struck me that staff twirling would be of the same sort of breed. As yet I have no juggling experience of any sort, but I've wanted to get into staff display and ken-do for years - I realise the two disciplines are likely entirely different, but hey, I'm new to this. Any guidance you could offer on me getting started here would be very gratefully received, as it'll give me something to do over the Summer that might be worth something. smile

Well you've come to the right place to learn staff! Have a look at the free lessons section at the top of the screen. It's a great way to start. .

Also, if you can get yourself along to Guildford on Thursday's or Sunday's there are lots of friendly spinny peeps who'd happily teach you some things. There are probably other meets in your area - i'm just not sure where at the moment.

Click here for info on the [Old link]

Hope you settle in ok, and good luck with staff!!!
