Im well new to this, but from what little i know and have seen i can truely appreciate the sense of well being that you all must experience in swinging those circular objects (balls etc), i just wondered if like my self any one was planning to use these ball swingings as a sort of medidation technique so to speak., seriously though i can see the sort of mental effects it may have on your inner being.
Anyways my other point was of a more practical nature!....has anyone used poi balls as a form of martial art.. i mean using some of those swinging moves to inflict a right old walloping to any would be attacker...(this is something defintely to be looked in to!)
AAAh but any way , ive got a dull old job to go to in the morning, and i must say night night for now. SEE U

I like to think of this art as a way for me to relax. its my escape. I would hate to taint that with a sence of violence.
but on the other hand...I was spinning RAV'N lights this one night, and Im all like 'these are WAY to light to do anything' so I fix fishing lead weights to the end... you can see where this is going, I wound up w/ a big ol knot on the top of my head.
I smell something burning.
