Hi out there!
me and a friend of mine had a nice idea recently.
we thought that it would be nice to start a circus community somewhere on this planet in a nice and warm country where we can live of the land and form a performance group , kind of like a trade community were everybody who lives there helps each other. it starts as an idea but i posted that in many forums all around the world and i got a few nice replies and ideas from the people out there and so i hope that all of you are interested and provide me with ideas on where and how that would be possible. i am not talking about an old-school hippie community no i talk about a modern 21st century community with web-cams summer-camps , sponsoring and performance groups who can practice and go on tour from there. so feel free to join me in the brainstorming and share your ideas with me and the rest who is involved in that already "who knows maybe we get the snowball rolling and we can make that dream real one day"

hey maybe it would be cool if you could find a sponser some rich person who loves circus stuff and things like poi and fire staff etc, then with funding from him/her you can have a special building made or maybe take out a business plan where you have teachers and performers and so so that its really professional and buy a massive building and so on that could be a big thing that then eventually spreads around the world.
i know my ideas are a tad bit crazy but a sponser or a business plan would be a good way to start of but you have to be 100% serious about it.

id say from my view of it a lot of spinners would object to a corporate style system for a community
it seems to work best at meets where everyone just lounges about and learns what they want to from whoevers willing to teach
maybe something a bit like a hippy commune would work better with everyone just helping eachother

I like the hippie idea, but you're whole thing with the circus community is good nontheless. All I can really suggest is that if you are serious about it, start getting people to "join you" ...just uhh, don't let this thing become a cult or something...

i day dream about ideas like that all the time!
I'm off in my own world thinking 'if i won the lottery/inherited a fortune etc.... I would create a magical land of circusy goodness where people can come and go, stay for as long as they want and generally have a fantastic time.'

yes no problem .... you need to start at some point and always work your way in some direction ,and as i just had the idea and everybody out there is working on it , it doesn't matter where we start and where we go aslong as we do that together .......

yes the country needs to be warm thats right so we get the most out of the land and for the bus ...... yea that is already roling since a long time one in australia and one in europe and i want them to join us once the first step is done
