I had ice cream last night.
I haven't had ice cream in over a month. It was good ice cream, too.

peel a banana, and chop it up, then put it on top of the ice cream...then the chocolate sauce on top (but not the sauce that sets yuk)

Just spent the morning with the sun licking my skin, in a gorgeous lush field, picking strawberries... could not stop thinking about how good they would be with ice cream! Phew. Damn fine berries we have on this island.

The proof/submission goes out ( hopefully!) to the publisher just before I head to the UK, so I expect I will know if they pick it up by the time I get back.

For years now, I've been eating icecream exclusively alone, usually in front of the DVD player. I told my doctor that I hadn't eaten ice cream with anyone in several years, and he admonished me for my health to eat it alone on a regular basis.
Doctor's orders. Patient compliance not really an issue.
A couple of weeks ago, I ate icecream with somebody else. It really didn't taste very good, even though it certainly LOOKED delicious. I think this was partly because I didn't get any on my chin, though he did...now, many of you may think that's just fine, but I don't!
I won't be eating icecream with that person again. But I have hope for new icecream-eating companions! There are four people now who I'd most like to eat icecream with. Two I met just yesterday; two I haven't actually met yet. Only one of them (one of the online ones) actually has stated an interest in eating icecream with me; as far as the others go, we'll start with a light, palate-cleansing sorbet and see how it goes!

I had ice cream tonight again. It had been two weeks or so.
And wow. It was fantastic ice cream. Among the best I've ever had. Beautifully served, too.
It dribbled all over my chest, though... that was messy.
