Well My names Ed Freckelton, but everyone call me Freck

I'm 18, soon to be 19 on the 5th June (YAY biggrin)
I am from Leicester but I'm at Durham University studying Theology

I have been spinning poi for about 1 week now, still a poi baby, but I am loving it, I find it strangely relaxing. I have a scrummy pair of purple fluffy yeti poi.

Aside from studying, I act and dance, I love musicals. I also do Pilates and I DJ (no link between them). I love clubbing.

I like Sushi, flourescent orange (best colour in the world), and ducks.

I don't like 'trendy' people, probably because I am at the opposite extreme of being a club kid, or maybe because they all dress the same which is boring. I also don't like magpies because they kill the baby ducklings eek

I suppose I got into poi because it seemed like a sensible extension of my dance training and also I want to perform with some LED poi in our union at the weekly club night, £££ ubbrollsmile getting paid for having fun...sorted

Anyway I am off to get my hair dyed the same colour as my poi, this could be a huge error umm

Luvage Freck xx

If God exists, how come the ducklings get killed by magpies?

My state of mind is not yours to define!

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."

We've had crows attack and kill our chicks recently, very distressing indeed frown that's why I don't believe in God (thought I'd chuck that in cos you're a theologian wink )

Anyways, welcome to HoP and I hope you get paid good and proper for your poi dancing, sounds like a perfect job for you (being a dj, clubber, dancer, performer!)

Practice as if your hair was on fire...

lol, cheers anna, I don't believe in God either. Hee hee, not only because the magpies kill the ducklings though. I don't know how much it will pay yet, but I know that I have to do two half hour sets during the night, and then i can just club fo the rest. So I basically get free entry to a £5 night, and do sumthing fun. Cannot complain. biggrin

I'm glad orange is a popular colour, I think it's most underated by the population.
