Main Confest (2-3000+ hippies) runs twice a year (during the easter and summer breaks)
and also a smaller (250-ish smelly types) one is held during Anzac weekend
all in NSW.

i met my current girlfriend at a confest, though we were wearing clothes at the time, which is in fact odd.
I've met a whole bunch of people in the last month appearing at wednesday gatherings bright eyed and bushy tailed after having learnt at Easter confest!
The Summer confest will likely not happen at the Gulpha Creek site, which has been home to about the last 8 confests.
