eh up, people. have had pretty good introductions to/impressions of many already, though you may not know it (re. photo galleries). was sent this link by a special girl, initially recommending i check out the flaming contact monkey fist video (been searching for a fire contact ball for a while, blatantly an awesome toy to have, didn't know if existed or if i was gonna have to indulge in some dodgey DIY (have since come to the conclusion Mr Babache fire juggling balls will be best-more symmetrical than fyreflies-any other suggestions welcome....).

Currently buzzing off my fire staff, poi good fun as well but I’m pretty amateur – can twirl and generally spin round like a crazed lunatic pixie but no tricks as such (4 beat my limit so far) – just working on the fluidity of changing planes of spin. Also love juggling, anything and everything – got my 5 ball down pretty well but tricks fairly elusive (part from some multi-plexing – reverse cascade still way beyond me-doh!). Need some corroboration on my 3 ball reverse mills mess – I’ll try n post some videos – any jugglers about here?
Gathering at Falmouth looked spot on – well up for similar psychedelic sojourns n tantric travels. I’m a Derbyshire boy really, country lad at heart - living in London for studies. Urghh. Don’t ask. I’ve just given science my parting shot with a synaesthesia dissertation – anyone heard of V.S.Ramachandran? -so far up his own [censored]. SCIENCE IS THE KEY! Hmmmmm. Sorry, current personal issues – how can we objectively assess subjective awareness? God science loves itself. I digress……

Anyway, re. title, fire spinning just gives me a ‘dawn of time’ primeval feel – the wonder, the awe, the absorbment, the control – personally best indulged on a mountain, with a generous side helping of schrooms (trying new stuff not best recommended…., specially fire poi. Wowch. – got a mate who had to drop n roll by himself on Clapham common after tying up his wrists. Warm. Escaped with minor burns…… sorry, not scaremongering, just covering myself against injury sustained from inadvisable recommendations. Play safe. Forgot who I was talking to then- you’ve been, you’ve seen, you know).
