It's been a while hey?

I've changed a bit since first wrote this intro post!

Well, I'm now 19, living in Melbourne. I'm studying Justice in the city which commences feb 12th. I'm kind of excited but kind of scared at the same time.

Unfortunately the 'spark' for firetwirling still hasn't been rekindled, it's probably been about a year since I've picked any toys up, not sure if I'll ever start up again.

I've been up and down and diagonal over the last however long it's been but I'm pleased to announce that I'm back, and I'm okay smile

Love & butterflies

Hi Roar wave
Don't worry about the party, there will be plenty more and at some point your friends will realise just how much you bring to the group. Then you'll find it difficult to find time for just you and your staff and will need to get a diary so people can book you in advance! wink

You can spend hours playing with minutes!

It's most likely that globally there are going to be difficulties with school communities mainly because you are always going to have those who fell as though they have to impress their peers. Don't worry, by the time I got to college almost everyone had grown up and realised that they are their own person and embrassed their individuality as well as toher people's and those who hadn't changed were left out as we had no time for their imaturity. soapbox TIme for me to step down from this. Sounds like you haven't got long to wait before leaving school anyway so just hold on to your individuality a bit longer and you'll find it a major asset. wink

yep, you'll be in the real world in no time, where you can get out and meet some cool people. Not because they are trendy or "in", but because they appreciate you for who you are, and you appreciate them in the same way.

smile you'll see.

I have found that there were only 2 people that I went to school with who I have remained in contact with (and I knew both of them before starting high school anyway).

I realised a couple of years ago that none of the "friends" that I thought I had, were actually friends at all! I was much better off not hanging around with them. I was fed up of trying to fit in all the time.

As plenty of other people have said, you will find people who appreciate and love you for who you are, not for what you have to offer them!

Dream update.

For some reason I was in two places at once. Mum and I drove somewhere for something and had to leave my brother Chris by himself (my brother with Cerbral Palsy in a wheelchair) Then it crossed to me at home watching the TV when

'Breaking news. There has been a shooting in Palmer Rd' Palmer Rd being around the corner from my house, about 100 metres away.

Then it crossed back to me in the car with Mum driving home driving past the house in Palmer Rd just after the shooting and seeing policemen and flashing lights. We didn't see any dead bodies or anything, the poliemen were standing in front of it.

So I got home and locked the door, and even though the door was physically locked, it was still opening! So I worked myself into a big fret because I assumed the shooter was still on the lose...but the door still wouldn't close. Then I woke up with a little fright at 5am with my alarm on my mobile phone!
