Hi, I'm brand spanking new to HOP, never even new it existed until I stumbled upon it recently. Only just starting to get my sea legs as far as the technology thing goes. Just typed poi into a search engine and BAM, Here I am. And right glad I am too. Been spinning for years on and off, started in South Africa and the enthusiasm kinda waned once I got to the UK and refused to leave the warmth of indoors for months. Years later I am regaining my passion and learnig to accept that 26 degrees celcius is warm.
Think Hop is amazing, looking forward to learning and living and loving and growing.

you have no idea I was all puffed up and ready
I was also made to balance on a roller bola whilst poigling with a staff in my mouth a plate on my head and a gymneast ribbon stuck in my waistband to amuse the kids
I think Matt got carried away he wanted me to do every prop we had at the same bloomin time... A couple of balls short of a full cascade... or maybe a few cards short of a deck... we'll see how this all fans out.

ok my dear are you and lee bringing a lot of stuff? I ask because Nate wants a lift to play... and if I can do it he can give me an aerotech staff.... plus he's funny in a loud swearing kinda way
I won't be taking as much stuff as I did for our festival so were talking about 2 tents worth.... plus nate what do you reckon? coould you get comfy in the back with 3 people and no stuff? I'll stop regular like ... A couple of balls short of a full cascade... or maybe a few cards short of a deck... we'll see how this all fans out.

Well Ill have the same amount as for Southern Lights and Lee will have about the same...minus a tent, if you think we will all fit then thats all good by me...as long as my legs have a little more room to breath this time ...I bagsi the umm...third most comfortable spot in the car!

Sounds fair to me! Oh yeah, and dont bother with the stove...will pick up a couple of disposable bbq's instead ROADTRIP!!!!!!

coolio that saves me a trip to the loft... Now all I need to do is cram my tent back into it's original bag (yes I found it after 3 weeks hidden in my car) and decide what toys I'm going to take... oh and try and make a staff for bubbles before monday if I can

Work is really stressing me out too. My boss is on holiday, as well as another girl, so I have to do the work of three people...I'm surprisingly calm about all that though. All I want to do is crawl into my bed and stay there forever. The world sucks.

Ok...the little breather was good and I'm confident that I can continue to present a positive attitude, despite the fact that things are still not going my way. Thats just the way the cookie crumbles I guess.
I just want to thank all the lovelly lovelly people at Play for reminding me just how beautiful the world can be. I know I wasn't on top form but I really did appreciate all the love and cuddles.
I'm just sad that it's all over now and I wont get to see all those lovelly lovelly people again for some time.
