Hello,
I am new to this forum, I plan on lurking for a few days to see how this forum works, and how the people act on here. However, I see no harm in me posting an introduction.
I enjoi drum.and.bass, Glowstick Poi, and Astrojax.
Other then that, I am typically, just a regular guy.
Since I am a n00b to this forum, maybe someone could answer a question that I have. If you have the time.
I have been using shoe-strings to do poi with Glowsticks, however I want to move on to more expert / pro. methods, like chains, I searched the online store of this site, and then the FAQ, and I still can't find info on this subject.
Anyways, I am wondering which type of chain to get that would allow me to attach Glowsticks to them. I see the chains, with balls attached to them, and I wonder, if they will work with Glowsticks, etc... And if they won't, what chains will? (If any)
Maybe someone can help me with that.

when I spin glow sticks, I usually use 10 guage brass or stainless steel ball chain - a little extra weight is usually need though, so I usually add another glow stick (either fresh or used). the ten gauge is strong enough for glow sticks, light enough to keep much of the moment of inertial at the poi end, even with glowsticks, and ball chain itself is amazing in its ability to be easily untangled and thereby greatly reducing much of the frustration associated with glow sticking. there is much more to learn about ball chain and other types a chain, but that is all I will say here. Do a search on "ballchain" keyword and username"vanize" for post older than say a year if you want to try and find one of the longer disscusions on the topic...
anyway, greeting earthling redrum, and welcome to HoP!
