Posted: Ok this is an official update of my mouldy old intro. every time that i accidentally bring up the first page of this instead of the recent one, i get a case of "geez i'm a tool writing such a dodgy intro". so i thought i'd put a fresh intro up for me to feel embarrased about
Here's some information about me...
i live in melbourne, where things are often rainy. raininess makes me sad.
i go to the ever wonderful melbourne sunday spinning, where all the lovely melbourne kids go. If you live anywhere near melbourne and you're checking out this intro to suss out what type of people go on sundays, i highly recommend you come along.
i'm a student nurse, so i get terribly excited about health. it also means that i will intermittently whinge about going on clinicals. i secretly love being on clinicals though.
i'm also a disability support worker, which i've done for ages. i love it heaps, but like any job, it has it's moments.
i live with my boyfriend, who i tend to complain about a lot also, but i love him to bits, even when he gives me the sh!ts.
someone once asked me to sum myself up in 5 words, and i came up with independent, caring, firey, needy and...oh bugger i can't remember the last. i'm sure it was good though
well, i can't think of anything else to put there, so i'll leave it till i start cringing whenever i see this intro
and just so that the initial comments here are in context, here's what my intro originaly said....
"hey, I registered with HoP a few days ago in a procrastination attempt (1exam to go), and this whole talking-to-people-on-the-other-side-of-the-world thing kinda freaks me out. Anyway, I been reading peoples messages, which seems a bit voyueristic, since I haven't really introduced myself. I live in victoria, and I'm studying nursing, play with poi, but haven't 4 ages. please reply with something encouraging, otherwise I'll get scared and feel unwelcome. Then I'll be stuck with playing solitaire." EDITED_BY: myco (1127122222)

i've never tried crumpets and nutella ry, but i currently have neither. the other day i had some hazelnut praline which i melted and squished on toast, and it tasted just like nutella

Posted: I loved the one which went something like "When the fox is in the bottle where the tweetle beetles battles with their paddles and that poodles.." etc. Friend and I had a whole tune we made up and sang the whole book to when we were ickle rugrats..
Hazlenut pralines sound delish in any form!
mycoBRONZE Member Pooh-Bah 2,084 posts Location: melbourne, victoria, australia
Posted: confession time: i hate praline. my boyfriend loves it, and i always eat it if he has some (cos you know, its still chocolate), and complain all the while. i know that hazlenut praline is just a firmer version of nutella, which i love, but there's just something not quite right about praline.

Posted: But hazelnut!! I'd prefer hazelnut icecream, hazelnut chocolate or hazelnut spread to hazelnut praline, but give me hazelnut anything
