I thought I would start this post with a bloody huge "Howdy", to all existing members.
My name is Erik, but most people call me Ezza. I first started twirling the poi while travelling overseas, late last year. I am back home in Bunbury, Western Australia right now, but will travel overseas again in a month or two, for a year or two, and you guessed it, the poi are coming with me. (along with my hacky).

Yeah it is good to be here. Truth be known, this is the first online community I have ever joined. I have used the site now for about a year and a half and realised that I really want to get involved at a deeper level.
Mistress of pink, I do like the colour pink. Any colour that is bright and colourful is a winner with me. Especailly the colour blue.
I am a bit curious how you guys introduce yourself to other people that you meet when spinning/twirling. Do you say "nice to meet you, my name is Skulduggery", or "my name is ________, but my friends call me Psycho lemming!, or just your first name untill you get to know them?

Ha! well... it definitely is a bit wierd calling people by their real name!
it really depends on the person... some call me dentrassi, some call me Ed, i think at time goes by it reverts to your normal name, although on-line everyone usually still keeps there online name i think.
well, this was also my first online community as well so have fun!

I've not met anyone from here in person yet but I don't mind if they call me Skully or Lynne. Its no big deal. Its like any other nickname.
