so i've worked up the courage to write an intro.
the way the boards say that it is tomorrow is a bit disconcerting, but i've realized that they are set to some universal time, so alls well.
anyway - about me.
i've been spinning since the start of july 2004 (this year) - learned all my moves off hop and ICoN's vids - which rock by the way.
i'm in college doing multimedia + love it. I have less time to spin though with projects and all. i'm getting fire poi off my folks for christmas - can't wait for that. i spun fire once and loved it.
so thats it really -feel free to ask questions.

Hi! and welcome!

It took me over 3 years to write an intro thread, so from my point of view, you got on the bandwagon nice and early.

As far as the time thingy goes, you can change that somewhere in your My Home. At the bottom of that page, there are three places to change your user settings. It also means that you will get happy b-day wishes for 2 days instead of 1 biggrin

My state of mind is not yours to define!

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."

give me a shout sometime and we'll go for a burn...

You interested in joining the Cork Community Circus? I want to go but not on me own....

Also i just joined the UCC juggling club (they dont mind oif your not a student). Fancy coming along? Plenty of poi people there. Those two italian girls that joined us on the street told me about it. Good fun, every omney night.

Pm me your phone number and i'll send you on the details.

Young lady are you coming to belfast with us?

It will be much fun, frolicks included!!!

Not sure about any gavinsw in jug soc. its mostly girls who cant juggle... this is good as ado-p can also not juggle. We are all learning though.

Last week i learned that when you think you are throwing a ball straight up, you are not in fact throwing it straight up at all. This is because of 'wonky arm' which i am working to correct.

Come along.. there are poi people there that are very very good....and freindly to boot. I learned a windmill and some turns last week. I'm so bad at poi.

Not sure aboutt he circus as still havent made it down due to excessive laziness. I know they do staff and poi but they teach stilts, devil stick and juggling and other cool circus skill salso. They do some very good youth outreach programs too.

Where is this pm you so casually promised? Well!!! Where is it!!!!

biggrin

the bit of me will be getting deleted too biggrin clare probably wants her bit deleted, i don't think she wanted to be filmed in the first place.

so with a bit of luck we should have some footage of tony, ria, steph & laura, and all the other strangers we picked up that nite ubblol
