Hello wave

Name: Molly (or Caro in a different world)

Age: 24, but it's my silver jubilee soon smile

Location: Lovely Edinburgh, oh it says that over there... But born and bred a Londoner.

Occupation: PhD student (entymology and bacteriology - ie. mash flies and see what's going on in their bellies. mmmm.) Oh, and part-time Queen.

Toys: BLUEBELL the most gorgeous blue blue tech ubblove Tulip my beautiful contact stick, poi and a sadly neglected devilstick. I think it had angel sticks with it somewhere (firey handsticks as well as a firey devilstick) but haven't played with them for so long.... and of course, young molly mole, who aspires to great juggling prowess, but is hampered by the shortness of her paws and the complete absence of the ability to hold anything with just one paw. She is the little furry blur that is my avatar, in her christmas incarnation as the mole of war.

Hobbies: Beltane Fire Society, the slack hippy calendar of my life. Dancing, most especially swing. contact girl is the way forward, if only I could get round the friction burns. Gardening, herbs and vegetables mostly. There's only so much you can do with a daffodil. Sewing stuff, costumery especially. Camping, brewing, jam and CAKE ubblove

Favourite colour (before anyone asks... you know who you are):

blue but yes pink is fine and dandy, it even tried to take over my world for a week in August when my little niece was born smile

um, that'll do I think...

oh one more thing,

I had the immense pleasure of meeting quite a few HoP-folk round and about this summer and if they are anything to go by, you are all beautiful lovely people hug

what a fabby place ubblove

now, tea and cake all round and cushions aplenty

Kyrian - you're going to be hard pushed to find anyone celebrating thanksgiving in Englandshire wink We used to make the best Guys for the bonfire - 11 feet tall with flashing eyes and big hats smile ah those were the days. Until they were ruined by a pair of nepotistic stuffed tights. mad

Poor Guy. As if being hung til half dead, eviscerated and ripped apart by wild horses wasn't enough we have to go and burn him too. Ah well, cold is god's way... and all that.

I like the word nepotistic. I wonder if it's real...

*hang on a tic*

... ah it is smile

Nepotistic is the adjective form of nepotism so all is good there.

The stuffed tights were literally that and presented by the judges daughter so she won the best Guy competition over our gorgeous masterpiece. BOO mad

Maybe some day I can be British too.

But it might involve some paperwork and a really large party with a band... or a DJ... and maybe some fire performers. biggrin

But for the moment, I'm happy being American. Or at least a New Yorker. wink

Shall I make you feel better? This morning when I got up I found that under my piano was a live rat that my cat had brought in. I couldn't catch it and had to go off to work leaving it running about. When I came home I couldn't find it nor could I find any remains of it. So either this rather cute looking rat is still in the house hiding, just waiting to leap out on me and eat my socks, or it made a bid for freedom out of the cat flap, or my cat caught it and took it back outside. All I have to do now is wait and see if it can cans past me in a happy lil jig stylee biggrin

I think rats would tango better but they'd need to find a partner.

I need 'feeling brave' vibes please. I'm all alone in Spain and rather lost, hungry and confused (although I did manage to convince them to give me a hotel room)

At least the hotel has wireless internet and I brought my puter smile

Tis true.

You're loved and surrounded by friends.

You just can't always see them.

Even in Spain you've got friends to the North of you, friends to the East of you, friends to the West of you wink and even friends beneath you feet as I'm sure Molly's reputation has preceeded her to the Spanish Mole contingency.
