So am I - although you probly wouldnt recognise me, I was super dark skined after only returning from Goa 3 days before
Katinca and I will definitely be there this year - its going to be MASSIVE and with a chillout / dub lineup like that its gonna rock.
pity GMS is playing. Never like them live...plenty of better live acts IMHO. but pehaps none with the drawcard potential.

unfortunately we probly wont be allowed to do fire there. I dont think EC has officially had freeforall fire twirling for years at their Nov party. They always say they will then they ban it when you get there. Its a shame. Still, there is always heaps of glow twirling at night and day time twirling on the dancefloors which usually run all day and night
I love day twirling near a huge dancefloor would be wicked to see some moonfest Fairys and Pixies playing at EC

So, if we are not aloud to twirl fire....Then why have they hired a Fire troupe to perform????
In all our talkings with the guys running it, they seem very happy and excited about all twirlies, I think *fingers crossed* It should all be ok... I really hope so anyway!

It would be nice to fire twirl there...
But as usual with these parties, the only people who are allowed to fwirl are those who were hired to fwirl....
Josh and I have asked at so many parties if we could just have a burn.... and they always say no... Although I have never gone against their wishes I have often wondered what they would do if you just happened to accidently light up...coz sometimes things like that happen But none the less we can hope that we can fire-twirl freely there and with permission.
And theres always heaps of day twirling if we can't......
When the time gets closer, we should organise a HOP meet-up?
Until Novemebr I am so hanging out ....study study study till then.

attempts to set up a firetribe at the EC forums have been met with offcial indifference. This is a massive festival in the scheme of oz doofs, So Pip and Spiro have enough on their plate than to allow uninsured flamage happen so close to summer dryness. Last year's NOV EC doof saw scorching temperatures (and alot of lightning and rain, to be sure.) and on those dayt i would not have allowed a firetribe if it were up to me, to be honest.
The only chance I see is if individual troupes allow other twirlers mandate, 'supervising' a fire circle after the last paid performances have climaxed. (Rainbow serpent open fire sesh for the last 3 years has had to spark up after the paid performances & after some begging
)personally, i believe that by nighttime at *any* earthcore party, it is difficult to walk/converse/perform brain surgery, much less burn stuff. hooray for uplifting morning sets! especially ones involving repeated attepts to steal pink cowboy hats
and fraggles get to see photos regardless of where they is.
and Josh, your likeminded take on CheesePsy had me in stiches. when psy becomes the next rock music, people will be sick of formulaic 4/4 crowdpleasers!

i love being exposed to the twirling styles of overseas doofers - awesome to be affected to a dance to a different beat - it's a shame people don't often take staffs as much as poi around, but i guess travel is abour compromise!
