ok, well, i didn't know where to post this... so, when in doubt social eh?

i was watching a friend spin staff yesterday, and all of the sudden i noticed how interesting it is to watch someone's muscles move whilst they are spinning... it's really interesting flowy movements across the body...

neways, i was just sort of curious if anyone has noticed this... if not, watch someone sometime, it prolly would be most obvious if they wern't wearing a shirt, but is quite interesting neways...

yeah, I remember spinning shirtless in front of my sliding glass door with beaming poi when I noticed how crazy the muscles look when spinning. it lasted for about a minute until I was too mesmorized and smaked myself in the head with both poi in a butterfly move. damn that hurt.

I think the flab would go really well with the flow of the fire, all like jiggly and ripply.

hay master na...

that's why you watch someone else lol!

beaming poi??

ouchness!

would i feel teh same about flab? personally no. but you prolly have some muscles somewhere if you've been spinning any lenghth of time. they just might not be as deadly obvious. and i honestly would never have noticed this person having muscles outside of having watched him twirl..

ahh but surely after a while of spinning the flab on arms'ys will tone to muscles therefor it could be interesting to see, over time the change in effect from how it looks with flub to how it looks with muscles!! ooooooo

its really cool watching someone spin, the way the body moves is mesmerising *sigh. . . .*

My spelling wobbles. its very good spelling but it wobbles, and the letters get in the wrong place

You would be amazed how many muscles you use when you spin, heck it is a pretty good cardio work out.

I have found that to be one of the coolest things about fire. My husband does fire devil sticks and watching the muscles while his shirt is off is quite....um....amazing he swears that once the privacy fence is finished in our back yard I have to go topless so he can enjoy the muscles rippling too but I guess my answer is yes I have noticed muscle ripples under fire light.

I once caught a reflection of myself in a window when I was practicing during the day. I was wearing a T-shirt, but my arms looked crazy.

I'm a swimmer, so another thing I love to watch is swimmers in motion. Especially butterflyers. For the most part, you don't see the muscles popping out while someone is in the water, but the backs of the shoulders are really cool to watch.

I shall get him in leather and baby-oil by the end of the week.
