Well....

I never really did do an intro thread, so I suppose now is as good a time as any....



Hiya!

I'm Melanie, from sunny (apart from today) Perth in Western Australia. I usually got to the Monday South Perth gatherings, the occaisonal (very) Tuesday Night, and some of the full moon gatherings.



I've been doing Poi for a year or two now, not sure really when or how I started, it was kind of a gradual thing. Altho living with two fire twirlers I suppose it was inevitable. I did my first paid performance with some friends a little while ago of which I was pretty happy with.



I'm leaving Perth in August for the big wide world, flying to London, meeting up with a Perth fire friend, doing a 37 day Contiki tour, then Ireland for a week, and finally onto Edinburgh with said friend, to work the winter from mid October till about February-ish when Italy and my friends relatives call. Never seen snow, so please say its not all that cold??



Been lurking for awhile, making random posts during quiet times at work, but really havn't gotten to know anyone, So here is my home, Come and say hi!
