Hiya,
I just thought I'd let anyone who is interested know what I have been up to over the last few days.... My boyfriend and I, as well as a couple other friends organised an outdoor psytrance party over the weekend. The party was called Progress (yes, we played progressive psytrance) and it was a wonderful success! We had around 300 people and actually broke even, which is a rarity for sydney doofs.
It was an exhaustive procedure - I managed about 6 hours sleep in 3 days. We spent several hours making the road into the site passable and actually had to find a quarry and purchase 3tonnes of gravel to fill in the mud holes. But it was worth every effort! To see so many beautiful smiling faces on the dancefloor was a blessing. i feel honoured to have been part of a crew that created a beautiful experience for so many people.
We had kayaks, BBQ and even that phosophorescence stuff in the water at night.My boyfriend and I had to leave the site at 4.30am on Monday morning in order to return all the gear and the truck in time. We then somehow managed to muster the energy to see the B52's play that night! I had a good ol dance too
They really rock for a bunch of oldies!Anyway, here are some pics of our party.... more can be found at Australiens (will have some pics of the night time up soon)

Sounds fun! Would've been a hard trip to make from California, but wish I could've been there.. Now get some rest and enjoy the after-party euphoria!!
