Flippin eck Gidge - my instinct was right - we have alot in common.
beatcha on the age bit by a couple of years, Anne Mcaffrey yay! and dragons n purple n music - wish I had a pogo stick again maybe it's in a box with the rest of me just waiting to get out n play. HoP seems a good playground

I can beat you both on age, but who's counting? I'm such a novice but I'm getting there. I've just ordered my first 'proper' pois, although my homemade ones are still ok. I started learning staff twirling too. Great venue now in Melbourne, you'll have to come next year, Gidg.
Great to hear there are more Dragon people out there, Anne MacCaffrey rules, Yay!
Happy twirling, I'm getting back to work. Well, gotta pay for those new poi somehow.

Skully?!! You have skin to jump out of? Wildchild and RosieMary - I'm don't care about a person age, unless I'm dating him of course, but it is nice to see that there are spinners our age out there. I don't care if you're a beginner or been spinning since you've been two, there is just something so free about spinning.

Isn't that a scary thought. RosieMary - with my current schedule to OZ Melbourne will be my last stop, so I'll be there somewhere around the second weekend in March. This trip is going to be so exciting! I think at last count I had nine sets of poi, all but one is home made. Which reminds me, I still need to make a set of Gremlins.

OK for the BIG Tour! Well actually there is a little tour and a big tour.
Little Tour - Two weeks in Berlin Germany starting the first of November. I was trying to get a cheap flight to London for the last weekend but THEY bought my round trip ticket and it will take an additional $200.00 to make the change, so there will be no London stop over.
Big Tour - I leave February 16th for Australia! I have four fabulous weeks between Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. It's going to be uberly fantastic!!!
Now you just might be right, I don't think the world could take two Wildchilds AND two Gidgs. But one of each should drive too many people nuts.

You are driving yourself nuts Wildchild? You would have thought, by now, that you would have gotten use to yourself. The idea is to try to drive other people nuts. My Mom and my sister think that I do an excellent job of it.
THEY happen to be the project leader and the company travel agent. All THEY would have had to do was hold off one more day, I found a ticket from Berlin to London for less than $200 US that night.
I have absolutely no idea what I'm going to be doing in Germany when I'm not working. Right now I'm concentrating on getting everything together for the training sessions, I haven't had a chance to think of what I'll be doing outside of work.
Soooo what is a Weinachtmarkt? It sounds like some kind of market. I take it you've been to Germany before.

Yeah, was with a German American for 5 yrs (it's a dirty job but someone's gotta do it!).
You're right it's a Christmas market and they're just beautiful - every traditional thing you can think of - fairyland with gluewein n strudel to top it off.
I'll be shocked if you don't just love it. Most towns have them starting in Nov.Sorry, I hate this question but what do you do to pay the bills?
I take it the BIG trip is personal?
