hmmmmmmmmm an Aragorn supporter!

well, my flatmate and i have had several indepth discussions of Legolas Versus Aragorn. I think in the end, after we'd smacked each other about a bit, we just decided to dissagree... and it was probably safer that way! HOORAY!

Kyrian, miss Lovely, it was indeed wonderful to talk to you in Dec, i had meant to Pm you a while ago to say so, but just havent had a chance, my apologies. ` it was definately a lovely surprise!

*hugz* to everyone, must keep this quick, money be's time and time be's money and i be short on both! xoxoxxoxo

I know how you feel about starting to dispair about ever getting work, it took me about a year to find the job I have now.
During that year, I sent out an average of 3 applications a day and received a grand total of nine replies (8 saying thanks but no thanks and one saying come for an interview).
The sheer fact that I'd sent out roughly a thousand applications and had no response was driving me insane.

What I found really helpful was to get into a routine like I'd be doing if I was at work, it really helped me keep sane since I wasn't just lying around the house like I did for the first few weeks.

Anyway, I'm sure you'll get there eventually, have another for luck.

I was all ready to oblige with the beans and farting jokes when I realised that since it's been so long since I told them, I can't remember any of them completely

Actually, that's a lie, I can remember one really bad one.

*Ahem*
Beans, beans, good for your heart,
The more you eat, the more you fart!

I think that's more than enough of that, so:
Congratulations
What is it that you're going to be doing there?
More importantly though, do you get free beans?

Whenever I hear the words Desk Jockey, I can't help but conjure up images of of some bizarre race with people riding desks

I really hope it's not just me

I'm pretty much a desk jockey too, which at the moment means that I get up when it's dark, work without seeing the sun for the whole day except my lunch hour, then drive home again in the dark I can't wait for it to stay lighter later, so I at least get to watch it get dark.
I have to wear a suit too for some reason - I almost couldn't remember how to tie a tie when I started, it'd been so long

There was no ppl that lived in our backyard.

really
and i'd thank you not to mention it again.

I'm still in therapy over it.

So, life is weird hey? i realise lately how much my family and friends mean to me, and then i start to become aware of just how alone i really am and maybe i might be old and carrying my teeth in a jar and living with cats one day .....

(ok, not cats, cos i'm allergic....) but its weird right! i wish i didnt think about it, but i'm missing some of my mates like crazy bannanas pirahnas and not entirely sure how to remedy the situation without making a mushy fool of myself....

*shrug*

*wanders off thinking about bovril in a suit... mmMmMmm cute...>*

Hmm, maybe I should wear a suit more often

I say just make a mushy fool out of yourself, if it gets you in contact with some of your mates again, it's well worth it.
I got in touch with one of my friends I'd only seen twice in the last 5 years recently - it was brilliant catching up on what we've both been doing.

Tell you what, if we both end up living with our teeth in jars, I'll move over to Oz and keep your remaining teeth company
