Observations from a foggy morning:
theres nothing visible past ten metres, its all a grey shroud. Its like walking in a cloud, all the streetlights have a halo. The birds, loud to make up for the lack of visibility, calling out like the shriek of rough saws.
Everyone is running this morning, like dogs after another who has theived some sausages. They run, loose arms and bags flying down the road, late for trains, tricked into sleeping in late by the absense of the sun.

Are the t-shirts still in sydney? I'd love to see them with your design. Would love to sign it too - though people don't really know who i am.

"untouchable face" was the song that got me liking her too! It took me a good 6 months to find out who sang it. Even though i'd heard her name on the radio its such an odd one i never quite got it. Do you like the other songs on the album? 32 flavours is a pretty one (the one you quoted).

Onions have many layers, but potatoes are more versatile.

I miss you buddy, i JaySkulked across the road a few mornings ago! it was like 6:20am, and i checked to see if no one was watching first, but i did it! i hunched up my shoulders and sorta sidled across the road. I've just realised that last week was my one year HoP anniversary! HOORAY! i HoP....

under a martian sky
and the rain, shivering down
to the ground, collecting
to mirror the endless red
and strange halo's of streetlights
and i, jeans heavy to the knee,
coat snugged, cold nosed and alert
trudging over previously crisp leaves fallen
now slippery and dangerous with the wet
and i, emotion and danger
reflecting the red night sky towards home.

oh sweety you're a been counter?!?!?! But you're so wonderfully creative! I was sure you'd be a designer at the very least (meaning: designers are creative but sometimes have to do some very dull stuff) or a writer or something - an artist preferably.
