Hey Flynt - the poetry's amazing. keep it up

No need to be cowardly (as has been said before) but I know what it's like. And this promite stuff sounds interesting - I'm a marmite girl myself (sorry Cass!) but i don't think you can get promite here. Could be mistaken though.

other interesting and entirley irrelevant things you could tell us:

favourite films?
favourite colours?
what time you usually wake up?
favourite season and why?
most hated celebrity?

just a few ideas please don't think i'm being nosey - just interested. R xx

Hi again Flynt,

Just wanted to say if you like manga check out a movie called "Princess Mononoke". It has to be the most amazing thing ive ever watched, more amazing then empire records (can u believe it?)

I could rave on for hours about it but its probably best just to let u do ur own thing!

Dont forget to bring a towel

What can I say? Just read your poems and was blown away by a few of em. One thing to say is at least your honest, one thing I teach when pointing out poi is that it makes you get over your weak side. The 'I can't do it' syndrome; so in reality you are braver than you may think. Besides we are all frail in a way or other.

About the poetry, and I'm no authority and don't get me wrong but I felt there was not much happiness. I read them through quickly to be honest so I probably missed nuances. That rape one made me leap back!! Could you write a more jollier one for us poi et al, lot? How about looking up at the blue sky (not much here, admitedly, in Pom), or the roll of the weave on a summers eve with you chums, drinking wine and feeling fine. Tell ya what we could all make one up.

Anyway, I reckon there be talent there... and welcome to poi ..I usually say that when they first hit themselves

wow man breathtaking website - content and presentation - sincerity is a preciously rare quality on the 'net these days. actually anywhere.

Anyhoo *thinks happy thoughts*
from one anime nut to another, the newest stuph i've managed to get a hold of are:

Hellsing season 1 (ep 1-13)
Serial Experiment Lain (1-13) <--VERY good introspection show
Photon ep 1

my personal favourite, Princess Nausicaa kinda a proto-Mononoke (same prodcution people) - her character is as sweet and giving as the title character in SHel Silverstein's 'the giving tree'

gizz a yell if ya wanna burrow them!

I am tryin' to get a copy of 'Metropolis'(same production people as Astroboy) - it's
a recent blockbuster that rocked my fragil little mind oh anD 'Spriggan' had awesome production as well.
anime makes me happy

Hey Flynt,
I'm now horribly curious to check out your poetry, but will have to wait till I'm not at a work computer.
I do the same that you do where I make myself do the things that scare me. Let me just congratulate you on that because it takes a different kind of courage to do that. We get so used to courage being us against external forces and forget about how we can also triumph over internal ones (fear, anxiety, shyness, etc.). So, yes, good job and keep at it and good luck with poi, staff, whatever you attempt.

i have to agree with starbuk, princess Mononoke is a fantastic film, true so is empire records (damn the man! save the empire. . . i love that one ) but princess m. is defintly better. Akiras a strange anime (humm, quite reflection)
anyway. . happy twirling x x

hi flynt, welcome to HoP. i'm sure you'll manage to waste far too much time here like the rest of us.
and don't worry about the cowardliness - i've heard if you go strolling down that strangely yellowish road over there you'll get to some wizard bloke's house who can cure you of that if yo udress up like a lion for him

incidentally cass - i'm intrigued to know how you've managed to see spiral's eyes

apparently you're even shorter than me and i've never managed to reach the vertiginous altitudes necessary to make such a discovery.
