The one place ive found is Wilkinsons (wilkos)
Its about a pound for quite a large packet.

You dont actually have to use parafin on steel wool, just light it till it glows red and spin like a maniac!!!! and make sure youre standing away from other people!!!

Hiya..

I've found that small hardware stores are a good place.. B&Q and Homebase tend to hoik the prices up.. gits.. but I can get a big big bag for about 2.50 squids from a little place I know..

I want to find copper wool - any ideas? (can't be bothered to make it myself)

From experience - I like to dunk the wool into parafin or meths just to get it going well
