"Even a Grandmother like myself can enjoy twirling a set of glowing poi balls in socks! As a kid I twirled baton so this comes naturally to me! I started with an inexpensive set in the rainbow colour and I LOVE THEM! My friends are amazed at how good I am already! My Grandkids want some of their own after watching me!(but all in good time!) It is not difficult and so much fun! Great for entertaining children and adding some excitement to a dance party! I attend techno dance parties once a month since I do not live in a big city. There is always that 'break from dancing' time to recharge my energy and I spin my Poi during this time! It is also great exercise for my arms wrists and shoulders! Last Christmas I had a set of Poi sent to my son in B.C. for music festivals! He and his girlfriend love them also!"

"Those poi are really nice the colors look absolutely amazing when it's dark. The balls are padded nicely one those eyelets or loops (if you want to use them with strngs and not socks) are pretty hard if you hit yourself with them. That's the only downside."

While the balls themselves do not glow too bright aside from blue and green being the brightest though lacking still the socks and the weight these balls add make spinning reach serene states. The stretch and weight of these balls make slow moves last forever feeling complete control of your movements. While these are definitely not the best pair for people who want to spin fast and try to show off this pair is great for learning your own style and exploring."

The stretchyness will take some getting used to but I can already see a whole new range of spinning possibilities opening up! The only reason I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars is some of the stitching is a bit shoddy but that's nothing I can't fix myself in 5 minutes with a needle and thread. Lovely poi thank you HOP!!!!"
