However I found out that if I spin my fingers similar to snapping them with the wire in between them they produce a circular plane of fire up to two feet in diameter. "Those are cheaper than they ought to be! Nice sturdy construction (they dont get damaged even though we usually carry them in the same messy bag as our big fire toys) head just big enough to get a nice smaller flame (for a change) for about a minute and half body very light and easy to use (so that you can hold three or more in one hand) and the end is just sharp enough to stay standing in smooth ground if you push them in it (so they can even make a nice decoration) or sometimes if you just let them fall from your hand but not too sharp (so you dont get hurt)."

I just received my wand today (6 days ahead of schedule ;) ) and burned it a few minutes ago. Well balanced and the heat does not seem to travel farther down the handle than 3 or so inches from the wick. Wonderful product."

There appears to be plenty of wicking to provide a nice long life for my wand and even if there wasn't they are priced so reasonably that I wouldn't have a second thought of adding one to a future order just in case. Wand works extremely well for its intended use and left me with no concerns of the metal being too warm to hold comfortably."
