"I have previously bought the elder flame fan kit, in comparison I found the spider fans much easier to assemble and dip. The balance of this prop is great, fantastic for doing palm spins it feels very smooth and does not skin your hands. I would recommend these for lovers of tech and beginners. However when first lit they are extremely hot so you have to move quick : D"

"I needed a break from spinning poi - previously the only prop I had been manipulating. The idea of fans interested me, but as we all know, fire gear is expensive. That's where these DIY fire fans came in. The affordable price helped me justify purchasing a prop I had no experience with. The process of making them was enjoyable as well, and made me appreciate the work that goes into making quality gear. Sewing your own wicks is something every spinner should experience at least once. Home of Poi gave me all the resources I needed, and I found the tutorial perfect. As for the fans themselves, they're beautifully weighted and seem to spin smoothly whether around finger or hand. I'm sure the only fault is in my own ability to use fans."

"Pretty easy to sew on, especially if you have a thimble. I appreciate the 2 needles I received with my order though I broke them both fairly quickly. Found more success with an embroidery needle. I taped up the gap in the bottom of the ring with gaffer because my pinky kept getting stuck in there, I'm super new to fans though so I think if my skill improves I wouldn't have as much of an issue."
