"Excellent practise poi as they really couldn't do any damage if you tried. However I find they are a bit light especially compared to my cathedral fire poi. Strong winds (they have to be fairly strong mind) can blow them out of spin at average speeds which can be a bit disconcerting."

I'm wondering however if maybe a short piece of vinyl or rubber tubing around the cord near the ball might reduce tangling. Just a thought."
